21) Classified Ad Specific Features
Highlights of this feature:
- Ability to renew classified ads
- Ability to upgrade classified ads
- Ability to vote/comment on classified ads
- Classified specific listing details template to control display of all classified ad details pages
- Ability to force admin approval of all classifieds in the system before they can go live
- Ability to set charges for classifieds only
Where are Classified Ad Features Managed in the Software?
The site wide settings are managed in the following admin tool:
LISTING SETUP > GENERAL SETTINGS
Any price plan specific settings are managed in the COST SPECIFICS page of each classified specific price plan. If in fee based price plan can set category specific charges/privileges.
Things to Know While Managing Classified Ads
- There is no "transaction in the system" with classifieds like there are with auctions. So there are no "ending routines" like there are with auctions. Thus there is no feedback, no "winner" or "buyer",…etc for classified ads. If you need those features we suggest using the buy it now only auction that has no bidding but just the one "buy bid".
