13) Listing Extras
The current listing extras within the software are:
- featured status
- better placement
- bolding
- attention getter display
Highlights of listing extras:
- can charge a specific fee for each listing extra on a price plan by price plan basis
- within fee based price plans can additionally charge by category within each fee based price plan
- can give access by price plan to each listing extra feature
- within fee based price plans can control access to a listing extra feature by category also
Where do you manage these features in the software?
Look to turn on these features site wide within the following admin tool:
LISTING SETUP > LISTING EXTRAS
You then additionally turn on and set costs by price plan within the following admin tool of each price plan:
PRICING > PRICE PLANS HOME > [EDIT] (NEXT TO A PRICE PLAN) > COST SPECIFICS
To additionally set category specific pricing within a fee based price plan edit the category specific pricing within a price plan here:
PRICING > PRICE PLANS HOME > [EDIT] (NEXT TO A PRICE PLAN) > CATEGORY SPECIFIC COST > [click to add] or [edit] (if already exists)
Things to know when managing listing extras
- listing extras must be repurchased when a listing is renewed to retain those listing extras after renewal.
- by default the listing extra attached to a listing last as long as that listing.
