Working With Template Set(s)

See: Working With Template Set(s)

Note that the attachments listed on this page are only pulled from the template set(s) currently working with.

Template(s) to Page Attachments

This section will list every page in the system, and show the current template file attachment set. Click the Edit button on any row to edit the template attachment(s) for that page.

Page Column

This column displays the page ID and page name.

Default Template Attached column

This column displays the main template attached for that page. This is the template that is used if there is no language-specific or category-specific template attachment specific for the language/category currently being used/viewed, in other words this is the "catch all" template attachment if no other template attachments for that particular page apply.

Next to the template file, in [brackets] it will list every template set that the template was found in (within the currently set template sets being worked with of course). For convenience, you can click on any of the listed template sets to go directly to the page to edit the contents of that template in that template set. The template sets listed are done so in the order that the system would naturally be "looking" for them, so the first template set listed would be the one that the template is used from1).

<tip c n>Note: An attachment setting only specifies the "local" template file that will be used as the template to display that page, the actual template set is not specified in the attachment setting. That is why it lists all of the template sets that each template file is found in.</tip>

Attachment File column

The attachment file, is the file that a page's template attachments are saved in. It will be a PHP file, that works sort of like the config.php file, except that the files are updated by the admin panel2).

In this column, it first lists the template set folder that the attachment file settings were "pulled" from for the info displayed on this page. Next it shows the filename, with the beginning of the file's location truncated for brevity. If you hover over the truncated file name, it will show the file's full path, relative to the template set folder.

Template(s) to Addon Page Attachments

This section not finished yet.

1)
Assuming that template set is active
2)
No manual editing of attachment files is ever needed, however if you prefer to manually edit them you can.
