Setting Browse View Per Module

Within the software there are 3 basic browsing views you can use. By default each module has a "hard configured" browsing view. The featured pic modules by default use the pic browsing view. The newest/ending soonest, "non pic" featured and hottest modules use the grid view. You can override those default views by inserting a specific attribute into that modules placement tag. Below are some examples:

{module tag='newest_ads_1' browse_view='list'}
{module tag='newest_ads_1' browse_view='gallery'}
{module tag='newest_ads_1' browse_view='grid'}

No matter the view you choose you still control what fields display there using the same admin tools for that module. If you find you need to make system template changes to any of the above "browsing views" look to the following system templates:

/geo_templates/[your template set - not default]/system/browsing/common/gallery_view.tpl
/geo_templates/[your template set - not default]/system/browsing/common/grid_view.tpl
/geo_templates/[your template set - not default]/system/browsing/common/list_view.tpl

and always remember to follow these steps when making system template changes
