What Can Display in the Listing Details Page?

The listing details page displays the information within it that you set to display within it. The listing details template template determines the look of the listing details body and what listing/seller information displays within it. To fully understand all of the possible information that can be displayed within the listing details page you would visit this admin tool page:

PAGES MANAGEMENT > BROWSING LISTINGS > LISTING DETAILS PAGE

Go to that page in the admin tool and scroll down. You'll see a full list of the information that can be displayed within the listing details template/page template. You'll see the following:

Within that screenshot you'll see these features:

  1. this column contains the actual tag that must be placed within the listing details template or page template attached to the listing details page. With out this tag being within either of those templates that bit of information will not display within the listing details page.
  2. This columns contains a short description of the information that will displayed if the corresponding tag in the first column is placed within the listing details page templates
  3. This column lets you know if the corresponding tag in the far left column is within the default page template attached to the page. Most tags are placed within the listing details templates and that's where we suggest they be placed. Note this feature ONLY checks the site wide default page template assigned and NOT any category specific page templates if they are attached to that page.
  4. This column lets you know if the corresponding tag in the far left column is within the classified details template attached to that page. This is the classified template and placing any "auction specific" tags will not display that information. Note this only checks tags against the site wide default classified details template and NOT any category specific classified details templates if they are assigned.
  5. This column lets you know if the corresponding tag in the far left column is within the auction details template attached to that page. This is the auction template and placing any "classified specific" tags will not display that information. Note this only checks tags against the site wide default classified details template and NOT any category specific classified details templates if they are assigned.

Any tag marked not found will not place that tags associated information in that template. The opposite is true if marked found.

<tip c n>The above tool only marks if a tag is found at least once in that template. Any single tag can be placed multiple times within the same template as many times as you like but the software only returns if found or not and NOT how many times it was found.</tip>

General Listing and Auction Tags

There are a few different sections of tags within this page. The first section of tags are general tags which can just about be applied to any listing type (classified, auction,…etc) and will be available in almost all versions of the software. The second section is specifically for tags that only apply to auctions and if placed within any other template type will result in nothing displaying. This section will only display within editions of the software that have auction functionality.

User/Seller Specific Tags

This section of placement tags allows you to place seller specific information directly into the listing details page. All the information within this section is pulled directly from the fields controlled/displayed within the registration process and the user information display/edit features of the client side admin tool. If placed within the listing details page the seller would not be able to choose to display that information or not. As long as it's filled in within their user details and the corresponding tag is within the listing details page templates it will display. By default none of these field's tags are within the listing details page templates. Below is the screenshot of those fields:
