Auction Specific Field Display

The auction specific derived fields can be displayed on the client side within the category browsing, tag search and search results.

<tip c w>Note for these display configurations to be "clickable" you must turn on that field within the "main settings" tab shown in all screenshots</tip>

Display Within Category Browsing, Tag Search and Search Results

Site Wide Configuration

You can control that display site wide within the following admin tool:

LISTING SETUP > FIELDS TO USE

and once in the above admin tool you would scroll down to the "Auction Fields" section and click the "display in pages" tab as seen here:

Within the above screenshot you'll see:

  1. The "display in pages" tab you would click to see this configuration
  2. The labels for the fields involved
  3. The checkbox to make that field data display within the browsing category feature.
  4. The checkbox to make that field data display within the browse tag feature.
  5. The checkbox to make that field data display within the search results of the search tool
  6. and once all your configurations are made click the "save" button to save your changes

Category Specific Configuration

You would do basically the same within the Fields to Use admin tool that you do for site wide but you need to get to the category specific configuration for the fields to use admin tool. You would do that within the following admin tool:

CATEGORIES > CATEGORIES 

and click the Manage button next to the category you want to control the field configuration for like so:

and that will popup an image like this where you would click the Fields to Use button:

If you do not already have a category specific field configuration for the category you chose you will see the following:

Within the above you would select Category-Specific Settings and you would see the fields to use configuration form for that category appear allowing you to make category specific field configurations. Now you would click on the Display in Pages tab within the optional fields section to set configurations for the site wide optional fields as shown in the "site wide settings" section above.

Display Within Module Features

Site Wide Configuration

To make a site wide optional field display within a module site wide where ever it displays you would go to the following admin tool:

LISTING SETUP > FIELDS TO USE

and click on the Display in Modules and Display in Pic Modules and you'll see admin tools like the following:

Within those screenshots you'll see:

  1. The tab to click for the specific module type. The modules that are by default pic type modules are in their own tab
  2. This is the header row for each module in the system. You can roll your mouse over each to display that module full name.
  3. These are the checkboxes for each module and each site wide optional field to choose to display that site wide optional field within that module

Category Specific Configuration

See the Category Specific Configuration section above to find the category specific field admin tool and then look to the previous section to see the sections/tabs to look for.

Display Within Addon Features

Site Wide Configuration

Look to the following admin tool:

LISTING SETUP > FIELDS TO USE > DISPLAY IN ADDONS

And click the Display in Addons tab like you see here:

Within that screenshot you'll see:

  1. the tab to click to reach this configuration
  2. The labels of the fields involved
  3. the checkboxes to make that field display within the addon column displayed. Check to display. Uncheck to not display.
  4. Click the save button to save your changes after finished making them.
