Bidding Start Time
Once an auction is placed it is "live" at that time. That means that auction is visible on the client side of the software. But you can allow the seller to set a later time for bidding on that auction to take place through the following admin tool setting:
LISTING SETUP > GENERAL SETTINGS > Allow Auction Start Time
If the client sets a time in the future that auction will be visible on the client side when placed but a bid cannot be placed on it until the time set above by the seller is reached. After checking "yes" in the above admin tool setting a "start time" selection will appear in the place an auction listing process like so:
By default that time will be the current time and if not changed will be the same as the start time of the auction. If changed to a different time that when first displayed that will be the time bidding will start for that auction.
