DESIGN > MANAGER Admin Tool

WYSIWYG Editor

Note that whatever you type within this editor is displayed directly within the page on the client side. As you can see this editor attempts to display as the browser would see it. But note that most of the templates in the default design (and most template designs in general) are in fragments of html and so not displayed best outside the context of the "fully assembled page" as displayed on the client side.

Source Code Editor

Within this view you see and edit the html/css/smarty code directly within the editor. To see your effects within this view while you can jump to the wysiwyg view it's best to save and view within the "full page context" on the client side. Note that any html edits we point you to within the support wiki will refer to the code as seen in the source code editor view of the DESIGN > MANAGER.

<tip c n>Note that the source code editor does have a search/find feature. To use that feature click within the source code editor window and click "ctrl-f" keys at once. You'll see a "find:" box appear at top left of the source code editor view.</tip>

Clicking the Template Attached To.. tab will show you all the pages the currently edited template is attached to. This is an easy way to see what pages will be affected by changes in the currently edited template.

Within that screenshot you can details for the basic_page.tpl template:
