Admin Page: Site Setup > Master Switches

Master switches are On/Off toggles that each affect a large set of functions in the software. The state of these switches will fundamentally change the capabilities and workings of your site. You can use them to simplify the site greatly, or to remove sets of features you either don't want to use or want to add at a later date.

This switch sets whether classifieds are active on your site. If it is turned off, classified listings will not be shown on the front-end of the software, users will be unable to create new classifieds, and many admin settings related specifically to classifieds will be hidden.

This switch behaves similarly to the Classifieds switch, but for Auctions.

If turned off, your site will be completely free to use, with all mention of costs removed. For more info, see charge_for_listings
