Allow users to use a token that covers the main cost of a listing, a token does not cover the cost of listing extras. It also allows you to set up token "bundles" that the user can purchase, to allow your users to purchase tokens if they wish. Tokens can also be added to an account automatically when the account is first created (the user registers).

Previously built into Enterprise before version 7.0: Note that some of this addon's features were "built in" to the Enterprise editions, rather than being contained in an addon, in versions before GeoCore 7.0. Since this feature is only useful to certain types of sites, we have moved the feature to an addon that can be enabled / disabled.

All of this addon's settings are part of other areas of the admin:

• Pricing > Price Plans Home > [click Edit] > Cost Specifics - In Price Plan Items section, click Configure next to Tokens Purchase. This allows you to configure number of tokens to purchase and price, so can offer different "token bundles" to your users priced according to how many tokens there are. For each group of tokens, you can specify the number of tokens, the cost, and how long until those tokens expire. Just set to something like 20 years if you don't want them to expire, most people should use the tokens before 20 years is up.
• Users / User Groups Home > [click Edit] - Can specify 2 settings for each group, Starting Tokens Issued and Expire Starting Tokens which allow you to start new users out with specified number of tokens when they register, if you wish.

When the Tokens addon is installed and set up, the user will notice it:

• If the user has any tokens on his account:
  • It will display the number of tokens in the "my account links" module (the menu on the left when viewing my account areas).
  • On the cart, for any Classified or Auction that costs money (not including listing extras), it will add a button below the listing to "Use token", if multiple listings are in the cart that cost money, the button will show for each one. When clicked, it will subtract the main cost of that listing, not including listing extra costs. So if the Classified costs $5 to list for 1 month, and $1 for bolding extra, using a token will subtract $5 and the user will only owe $1 for the "bolding" extra. Or if they have no extras, the total will be $0.
• If the user's price plan is configured to allow purchasing tokens, it will add a button to "purchase tokens" within the my account links module. User will be able to use that to purchase sets of tokens at the prices you set in the price plan settings.
