-Now that your installation is complete, you're probably staring at your screen and trying to figure out where to start. You've got an online Knowledgebase and User Forum at your disposal, but that's no fun. It's time to play with your new toy, right?
-Well, that's precisely why we set up this **short tutorial**. We don't like to read through Knowledgebase articles either, so this tutorial is going to be short, sweet and to the point. The intent of this Tutorial is to teach you a few basics of the software and at the same time get your feet wet as to **how we get that darn stuff to show up** on your screen. Now, I know some of you are going to say "Forget the templates...I'm using my own." And that's perfectly fine, but it would still pay off for you to go through this tutorial, if for nothing else, to give yourself a better idea on how to lay out your html templates. Who knows...maybe you'll even learn a thing or two!

-**READ THIS OR YOU WILL SURELY PERISH:**  The most important thing to remember when you are going to make changes to your site is the **FIRST STEP**... Always, Always, Always... Dare I say it again??? **You must ALWAYS go directly to the TEMPLATE that is assigned to the PAGE you want to edit, before doing anything else**. There will NEVER be an exception to this rule...that is, until you learn the software. Until then, no short cuts, right?? Okay, now let's get down to business...

-===== How Do I Use The New Design After My Update to v5? =====
-The new design you see in this tutorial is the default design if you install v5.  If you update to v5 from a previous version you exported your previous versions template design into a template set within the new v5 admin tool.  After the update this exported template set is the active template set within the software and is what you see when you go to the client side of your software.  The design displayed in this tutorial is the default template set in your admin tool here:

-If you want to view the default template set in your site you only need to uncheck the "active" box next to all other template sets within the above admin tool.
-Note that the **default template set** is updated with new template changes every time you update to the latest GeoProducts version.  DO NOT MAKE CHANGES TO THE DEFAULT TEMPLATE SET.  Any changes you make to the **default** template set **will get overwritten** every time you update the software.
-If you need to make changes to the default template set design in the admin at **Design > Template Sets** use the button to **Create Main Template Set**, that will create a new template set based on the default templates.  Make your changes to that new template set that is created.
