Discount Codes are special alphanumeric codes that a user can enter on the Transaction Details Page of the Listing process in order to receive a percentage discount off of the total fees for their listing placement. Each discount code is assigned a unique alphanumeric code when you create the discount code through this admin. This code can then be advertised on your site, through emails, or in some other form of marketing. In order to take advantage of the discount, the seller simply enters the code during the listing process.

Discount Codes are neither Price Plan nor User Group specific and the discount code field will only display on the Transaction Details page (as shown below) of the Place a Listing process if there is at least one active Discount Code in the system.

The Discount Codes Addon offers your sellers the opportunity to receive a discount off of the total bill when placing a listing on your site. As the site admin, you can set up as many Discount Codes as you like in the system. Only sellers who have a discount code may take advantage of the discount(s) you are offering.
