Bridge Addon

The bridge addon does just that between two installations with respect to users only. If users are added/registered within the installation the bridge is installed on and that installation is a Geodesic software installation of version 3.1 or greater that user will automatically be added to any other bridges setup with other installations in the bridge addon. The bridge can only insert users from another installation if that other installation if both are Geodesic software installations and both are versions greater than 3.1.x.

The bridge cannot sync listing data between installations, only users.

This addon allows the for the following:

• import of users from another installation (from Geodesic software installations to Geodesic Software installations where both are v3.1 or greater only)
• export users to other bridged installation through the bridge at time of installation of bridge on the Geodesic software installation
• created/registered users exported to other bridged installations from a Geodesic software installation
• edits of users information is exported to other bridged installations from a Geodesic software installation
• "export" of login session data at the time of login on the Geodesic software installation to other bridged installations
• removal login session from other bridged installations at logout when the user logs out of the "local" Geodesic software installation

Consult the "Installation Types" chart at the bottom of the Bridge installation admin tool page for the current types of installations that can be bridged and which way the user data can be transferred.

Included with the software, is the fully functioning bridge between Geo installations, and a "template bridge file". The template bridge file, is a bridge type file that can be used by developers to create their own bridges to other software. See the contents of the following file for more information:
