====== Classified Ad Upgrade ======

Highlights of this feature:
  * Allows additional attachment of featured status, better placement, bolding and attention getter listing extras to listings if not originally purchased at placement
  * Admin controls whether to use this feature or not on a site wide basis
  * Admin controls the number of days from listing start before upgrade ability is removed from a specific listing
  * If a listing extra is already attached to a listing those are not choices to upgrade.  Can only upgrade listing extra features that aren't already attached to the listing.
  * Price of listing extras within the upgrade process are the same costs as in the initial listing placement process
  * The number of days from the start of the listing when the listing is upgraded is added to the end of the listing.
  * Only listing extras that are available to that user while placing a listing will be available for upgrade.

====== Where is This Feature Managed in the Software? ======
The number of days from the beginning of the listing until upgrade ability is removed from a specific listing is set here in the admin tool:

  LISTING SETUP > GENERAL SETTINGS > UPGRADE PERIOD

The number of days from listing start the upgrade is available is a site wide feature that affects all listings that can be renewed.  If the above is more than 0 (set to 0 to disable) that will allow upgrading to any listing type in the system.  
  
Additionally you have configurations to additionally affect this feature on a price plan by price plan basis.  Within the **Listing Renew/Upgrade** price plan item there is an additional setting as shown in the following screenshot:

The above allows you to reset the start AND end times of the listing after a listing has been upgraded.
